I have no intention to scare you but saying this with my own experience that EIS SM is by far the toughest subject of CA Inter. I and almost everyone that I know from the CA world have found it difficult to crack, and I am assuming the same for you as well.
Now when I say it is a tough exam, I do not mean it is impossible to crack. It is just that this paper, in particular, needs more of your time, attention, and a whole lot of hard work. Furthermore, along with a very good teacher, all this will surely help you reach your goal.
Coming to a good teacher, I would say that this is a subjective thing; who is good for me may not be suitable for you and having said that, India anyways has hundreds of teachers who say that they are the best, so how to pick actually the best?
My suggestion here would be to do a lot of research, shortlist a few teachers based on reviews, ratings, and suggestions and then head over to their respective youtube channels and take their demo lectures. This will give you clarity on the teaching styles and which one suits you the best. Once you have clarity on that, go ahead, pick the teacher and start with your EIS SM preparation.
Hope it helps.

I am writing this contrary answer because anyone can tell who is the best teacher, but no one will tell you who is not suitable for you.
So I will do this devilish job and tell you the truth here.
I am not saying that these teachers are wrong; they are obviously respectable and experienced, but for you, they may not be the best choice.

For EIS, I would recommend self-study and memorizing the bold heading in ICAI study matt. And for SM you can take classes from Vijay Sarda Sir. However if you are a bit sincere then you can do SM also on your own. It’s better to do self study for theory subjects rather than sleeping in the class.
Thank me later!

I would recommend you join Swapnil sir’s classes. He is by far the best teacher I have ever heard of or known of. He is an expert in this subject and has good experience in teaching, which is clearly reflected in his teaching style. He has mentored thousands of students to date, and his success rate is also very good.
CA Swapnil Patni’s teaching techniques are out of the box and are very useful in the longer run. He has a perfect way of teaching, and the books he uses are likewise worth a shot. His no. of batches, ranks, and students taught in total reflect the quality of his teaching.
I hope I was able to provide you with a satisfying answer.

Rajat Jain sir is hands down the best teacher for EIS-SM in the country. He is known for his vast experience and knowledge, and if that was not enough for you to get convinced, he is known as a Master of EIS-SM subject.
You will always find him saying that he wants to make EIS as a subject very easy for each of his students, and that is why I feel that he goes the extra mile to do so. Rajat sir has helped me clear my mind with numerous myths regarding this subject and has motivated us in my most challenging time while preparing for this exam.
One thing that I absolutely love about him is that he often gave practical examples as he believes that practical examples help give clarity and better understanding. From my experience, I can say that his technique works wonders for his students.
His courses are present on multiple online platforms, and you can access them anywhere in this country.

I want to answer this based on my approach and result.
Firstly dividing the syllabus into three categories:-
For the core theory chapters like an introduction to SCM and the modern business environment, ICAI Study material alone is more than sufficient. Just try to be thorough with it and leave no stone unturned in studying.
For more of the analytical theory-based chapters like performance evaluation, budgetary control, cost management techniques, etc, ICAI SM is sufficient, provided you go through it very thoroughly and do each and every question and illustration.
Along with it, to get a little more grip on these chapters, if time permits, try to do past 2–3 attempt rtps and question papers. Call it an essential step as this will make the concepts settle in your mind and this will be useful in the long run.
Then, lastly, for the core practical chapters like Decision Making, transfer pricing, standard costing, etc., ICAI SM is not at all sufficient as the question content is significantly less. You better try to practice more and more questions from these practical chapters from other teachers’ books or old syllabus pm to score well.
Hope this helps.

For EIS, CA Atul Gupta sir is known as the best EIS teacher in Delhi for 25 years. They teach at Rathore institute Laxmi Nagar. However, the time has changed now, and students prefer saving their time and money and studying with the best resources. PS Rathore sir designed an app for CA students, keeping these in mind.
From his teaching experience of 25 years, he believes that to succeed in your CA exams, you should join the best CA coaching. These two teachers are my personal suggestion, although there are teachers who teach both EIS & SM together, and you can opt for them as well.

There are many excellent faculties in India for CA Inter EIS SM subject. Before you join the class, I would say that you must watch a demo lecture on YouTube. Some of the recommended faculties are:
However, I recommend Saket Ghiria as he is the most experienced among the lot. And his teaching style is something you will not find with any other teacher. I have taken classes for him, and his style has worked wonders for me; it can work for you as well.

Forget about the content in books, most of us don’t even know the full form of EIS. It’s “Enterprise Information Systems & Strategic Management”
EIS is basically how well you can do “Rattafication”. To score good in this subject you’ll have to cram important words and phrases and then vomit it in the exam hall. Knowing the concept is one thing and scoring good is another. “Ratta” technique will help you score good here.
So watch the trial videos of various teachers (That you might come across in other reviews), and decide yourself – which teacher helps you best in memorizing the course content!

Honestly, writing this answer, nobody will tell you this strategy but trust me and apply this to your preparation schedule, and I can assure you that you will at least secure 40 in EIS SM.
Specifically, focus on SM, i.e., Strategic Management. Try to revise it twice such that you understand all concepts and learn the keywords and heading at least. I will emphasize that understanding the concepts will play a significant role and get you a great score in SM.
Coming to EIS, all I have to suggest here is that try to learn only 2 to 3 small chapters; go through the other chapters for MCQ purposes. Mere understanding would suffice.
EIS is too long compared to SM, but both fetch the same marks, so start with SM, and in EIS, only learn two chapters in an adequate manner such that you can score at least 5–7 marks of theory from it and get a Gist of other chapters for MCQ purpose.
This method will help you in getting a good score. Coaching here is not a necessity, so there will be no need for coaching if you plan your preparation well.
Happy learning and all the best 🙂

In my opinion, there is only one best faculty for EIS SM in India, and he is CA Amit Tated. He is incredibly talented and an intelligent human. He is a well-known educator for EIS-SM and is a loved teacher by his students. He has been training students for years now and has a stronghold on a technical subject like this one.
He has had his share of challenges while reaching where he is today; hence his motivation in life evolved into helping students in this phase of their careers. And I am one of the students who has been mentored and helped by him; therefore, for me, he has been a lifesaver.
He has trained more than one lakh students, and most of them have achieved success in their lives. Adding to the point where I mentioned that he is an Intelligent human, He is highly qualified, and his qualifications include CA, CS, CISA, DISA, BCCP, MBA, and CISM.
I have always believed that not all great faculties have a similar way of teaching, but each one has particular importance of its own. CA Amit Tated has a very diverse fashion of teaching; he keeps it very specific yet strong enough to be understood by every student. He makes sure that each student is thorough with the concepts and precise with every possible doubt. He is indeed one of the best coaches in our country.

I had taken EIS SM classes from Swapnil sir and cleared my CA Inter with decent marks a couple of years back. Although I was not fully satisfied with his teaching, it was good enough to help me succeed.
While I was giving the exam, I was not open to the internet world as most of my years went into studying; therefore, before taking classes, I could not take demo lectures. However, today, I would highly recommend you to go through the youtube channels of any teacher you are willing to take classes from.
Luckily, there are many good teachers such as Swapnil sir, Rajat Jain sir, Amit Tated sir, and many more who can guide you in the right direction and help you achieve your goal of clearing this exam.
Furthermore, no matter where their classes are, you can have access to outstanding teachers and coaching from the comfort of your home. This, in fact, saves a lot of time in traveling, and you can utilize each and every hour in preparation for your exam.
To be very frank, I always feel that no matter how good a teacher is and how good the coaching is, if you do not do self-study or create a disciplined schedule, then all this is of no use.

India has a lot of brilliant minds, and the challenge here is to pick the best that works for your understanding. So as EIS SM is a theoretical subject and that too a tough one, I would suggest you go to none other than Prof Sumit Parashar.
Because he is from an IT background and has been teaching this subject for years now, he has adequate knowledge of CA as well. So who could be the best pick for this subject in particular? He specializes in Information technology, Information systems, and strategic management. He has also worked for various MNCs before opting for teaching, and hence he has a very good hold on this subject.
Where does he take his classes?
His lectures are available on different learning platforms, which can be found easily online. Furthermore, he also has a YouTube channel through which you can understand his teaching style and decide whether or not to take his classes.
His classes will cost you anywhere between Rs. 8,000 to Rs. 8,500.
All the best!
