The concept of “best” is quite subjective, and my best may not be your best. You will find hundreds of articles telling you who is the best teacher for Taxation, but trust me, not more than two-three would mean what they say.
So for you to not get lost in the never-ending list of best teachers, I have a few suggestions for you because of my own experience. I cleared CA Inter one year ago, so you can surely rely on my suggestion, but please do some research on your own as well.
I am sharing a few names; you can go to the website of these teachers and read about them. Also, mostly all the teachers have demo lectures available online. You can check that out before joining their classes.
These four teachers are great and have a firm grip on Taxation. You can opt for any of these teachers but make sure to do good research on your own as well.

Nevertheless, to keep it generic and as helpful as possible, I am suggesting a few teachers along with fair reasoning why they are good.
Suppose you are the one who gets distracted very quickly, and you need constant focus and motivation to sit and study and reach your targets. In that case, you should go for Neeraj Arora’s Classes because he actually believes in keeping in touch with his students. He can bring you back on track with his regular videos on youtube.
If you are looking for experience, I would say go to MK Gupta, Sir. He is a gem of a teacher with more than 20 years of experience. The good thing about him is that he comes from a very different time, and his teaching has evolved ever since. A slight challenge with him may be that his teaching method may look old-school, but trust me, it is incredibly beneficial.
If you want your problems to be more straightforward, go to Sandeep Goswami, Sir. He is known for making every challenging problem statement an easy one. Therefore he is appreciated and loved by his students. He has got experience, skills, good results, and a great attitude towards students. What else do you need?

These would be my top 6 preferences, but if you ask me who is the best, with my own experience, I would say MK Gupta sir is the best teacher for Taxation in India. I have cleared the exam with his mentorship, and for me, he will be the best teacher in the country.

Now, as a suggestion, I would say that you should go for MK Gupta (MKG CA Education). He is a teacher with more than two decades of experience, highest among the lot. Moreover, his past results have been really good. He takes offline (In Delhi only) and online classes, so you can still access his classes no matter where you reside.

For your CA Inter Taxation, I would say, go to CA Neeraj Arora Sir and no one else. He is an exceptional teacher with good teaching skills and can make subjects feel so easy that no student is ever scared of the exam after studying him.
I took his classes while I was in Faridabad. Coming to that, the only problem with him is that he provides face-to-face classes only in Faridabad. Moreover, he provides pen drive classes that are also amazing for other students, so if you live nearby Faridabad, you can opt for face-to-face classes. Furthermore, if you do not, then you can also go for the pen drive classes.
In today’s time, I do not think there will be any challenge for you to take Pendrive or online classes. And a very good thing about Neeraj Sir’s classes is that his online classes do not feel like one; They will be equally impactful, and his recorded lectures are entirely apt to clear your concepts.
I will suggest you first attend some demo lectures by that teacher and if you are satisfied, only then register yourself for his classes. Investing your time and money should be a conscious decision, and you must be entirely sure before going ahead with any of these teachers.

I watched his demo videos and decided not to take tax classes from VG sir as his content delivery wasn’t suitable for my style of learning. Although he is A LEGEND in himself, Bhanwar Borana Sir was the one who SUITED me.
Also, Vijay Sarda sir is a great faculty for DT. But at last, after learning the concepts, you need to solve maximum questions to score good in your exams.

I followed the books and other materials issued by the Institute, and for direct tax, I have especially followed the free video lectures of Sandeep Goswami Sir on youtube. Neeraj Arora sir’s lectures were also of great help to me.
I believe that, no matter how good a teacher is, if you are not into self-study and a disciplined routine, then it will be hard for you to clear the exam. My suggestion to you will be first, have a properly structured timetable and follow it no matter what. Furthermore, there are plenty of good teachers who have youtube channels. You can always refer to them and continue your studies.
I feel Taxation is such a subject which can be studied on your own and still you will be able to score well in the exam.

I have taken classes from Neeraj sir; therefore, I am very confident about him. His classes are delightful, and his teaching style is unique. He has excellent knowledge about the subject, and the way he handles any problem statement is something you will not see in many teachers.
I used to feel that CA classes can sometimes get boring, but Neeraj sir changed my perception. The way sir makes practical questions out of hardcore theory will leave you speechless, and the level of questions will be extraordinary. The way he deals with sections makes everyone fall in love with tax, including the most scared of it.
