Which is the best IAS Coaching in Delhi?

I want to join coaching for UPSC in Delhi. I have visited many Institutes and most of them portray good results and have same offerings. Are there any recommended institutes which you can suggest?

When I decided to pursue UPSC, I spoke to my seniors, searched for many coaching centres. Uttam Nagar, Rajendra place, and Mukherjee Nagar is a hub for UPSC Coaching in Delhi.

I tried them all, and then I realized, there are several big names who are known for results but now ended up getting too much crowd, unmanageable batches and hence, lack of quality. They are just now making money.

I started looking for some other options and came across KD Campus.. Below are few points which will help you out:

    • Batch size is maximum 50
    • They guide you well, and teach you with amazing techniques
    • They have branches in Dwarka, Uttam Nagar and Mukherjee Nagar with batches running from 7 am to 8 pm
    • if you are working professional, they also provide weekend classes.
    • Fees is nominal compared to others.

    Hope this helps.

During my first attempt, I enrolled with one of the “so-called best UPSC Institutes” but it was a total waste of money and time too per day 6 to 8-hour regular class, my small bookshelf was full of coaching material and there is no space for basic books (like Laxmikanth or spectrum).

So according to me “A BIG NO FOR UPSC COACHING”

    Always remember:

    1. Upsc is primarily about what not to study, not what to study.
    2. Memorize the UPSC syllabus by heart, word to word, and try to relate it with newspaper and basic books.
    3. Don’t depend on anyone’s materials, the market is flooded with materials, just make your own notes
    4. Whatever material you choose, stick on it, don’t go for others and trust yourself
    5. Stay away from negative people ” action speaks louder than words “

    Thanks!

Next IAS is the best institute for IAS coaching in Delhi, according to student reviews and my own experience.

I will personally advise you to complete the NCERT book before enrolling in the institute, as it is the foundation level. So, I studied my NCERT and, after grasping the fundamentals, I applied for admission here.

When it comes to the faculty, I have nothing but praise for each one of them.

Particularly, Awadh Ojha Sir of History — no one ever felt bored in his class, even though the subject was history.

Vibhash Sir oversees Indian economics, and because of these two teachers, I consider myself very fortunate to have chosen a reputable institute that has saved me money and time.

Plutus IAS Coaching is the top Institute for UPSC preparation. I feel it’s much better than its counterparts.

This institute offers online courses, current affairs materials, Personal Guidance, and other services. They give a high-quality education with experienced faculty members and a limited number of student seats, allowing you to easily communicate with teachers.

Quality materials and timely mock tests will aid you in gaining a better understanding of the subject.

The fee structure of this academy is quite reasonable. So, if you want to pass the UPSC CSE, I recommend this Institute.

For an aspirant like myself who conducts extensive research prior to enrolling in any institute, the conclusion was to sign up in a demo class. As a result, I attended several demo classes. Vajiram and Ravi was chosen because I admired the teachers’ teaching methods.

    The Institute’s Most Valuable Assets:

    • Faculty members are highly pleasant and unique among other institutes, and they always go out of their way to help you solve your problems step by step.
    • Current-events material that is both updated and relevant is available.
    • Even if its nighttime student portal is always active and is there to help you.

Although some Next IAS faculty members are not up to mark, but the majority of Next IAS faculty members those who have joined the organization recently are good, like

    • Kapuria Sir (Indian Economy), ex-Vajiram & Ravi faculty
    • Vibhas Sir (Indian Economy), One of the best Economy teachers for UPSC CSE
    • Awadh Ojha Sir (world history), Ex Vajiram faculty. You will feel highly motivated in Sir’s class, which will help you to easily know about world history

PS:- Mostly prominent faculty of Vajiram and Ravi now associate with NEXT IAS

PPS:- Go and watch Ojha Sir videos on YouTube for better understanding and you will feel a different level of positivity

Elite IAS Academy is the finest academy in Delhi, with Bibhash Sir as a personal mentor (Sociology Expert).

I believe that the study materials, exam series, and frequent classes in a friendly environment set this Institute apart from others. The best part is their skilled professors, who develop students and help them shift from a problem-solving mindset to a solution-oriented mindset.

The fees for this institute are as follows:

    • Foundation Course – Rs. 2,21,000 (12 months)
    • 3 Years Integrated Course – Rs. 2,60,000 (36 months)
    • GS Mains + Prelims – Rs. 1,60,000 (10 months)
    • Optional – Rs. 50,000 (4- 5 months)

Features of this institute that I like the most are:

    1. They can help with interview preparation and DAF analysis.
    2. The best part is that scholarships are available to students from low-income families.
    3. Only 80 students are in each batch, which allows students to connect with teachers.
    4. After the mock test, there will be a one-on-one session to clear any doubts.

I was able to easily clear the My prelims with the help of the 20-20 and 50-50 series and the MSGP (mains seat guarantee programme). The way they teach difficult topics is different from other coaching and easy to understand the basic concept.

The crisp and short Synopsis material also allows me to revise more effectively and save time for CSAT practice.

Note: Instead of wasting time on useless material, concentrate on “How to qualify for prelims with the least amount of material.”

If you are fresher then go for VAJIRAM and RAVI or SRI RAM IAS. These are best place for you to understand the nature of the UPSC CSE exam.

Mentorship is very vital during the first attempt, and coaching institutes provide the best mentorship.

One thing that separates Vajiram from others is experienced and qualified faculty. The faculty’s teaching style is quite different and helps you to grab it easily.

Vajiram yellow book is also a syllabus-oriented material provided by coaching.

The biggest drawback is that it’s 60-70% prelim oriented and 30-40% mains oriented

Honestly, the teacher in these big institutes do not care much about all the student, the sitting capacity of a class is 500+, how can it possible for a teacher to focus all the students with a specific time period of 1 hour or 2 hours, probably they are going to get 40-50 topper students whom they believe to crack the exam.

According to me, it has simply become a money-making business where teachers teach according to their own preferences and are unconcerned about pupils’ comprehending abilities.

Around 500+ students sit in a classroom in many large coaching institutes, and the walls are adorned with large screens and speakers. In the classroom, students are required to look at large screens. This arrangement utterly defeats the goal of classroom instruction.

SO, in my opinion, there is no top coaching institute, and you don’t actually require any coaching for general studies.

The Content of GS PAPER 1 , GS PAPER 2 , GS PAPER 3 , GS PAPER 4 is extremely broad and can even be found for free on youtube. You have to just put some effort to find the best material according to you.

You can spend money on the OPTIONAL subject because on the basis of syllabus and past year question paper optional is the subject that needs specialization if you do optional on your own it will probably take longer and you will have to read various sources. As a result, investing in optional items may be a wise decision.

If you still want to join coaching due to lack of time and want to save you effort then you can join:-

    1. Unacademy ( Comparatively lower costing )
    2. Synopsis IAS ( Content-based coaching institute for Civil Services. )
    3. Ed- Sarthi (Varun Jain Sir)
    4. Study Glows (Siddhant Agnihotri Sir )
    5. Study IQ  Education (Current affairs)

IMPORTANT NOTE:- Seriously I am not against any coaching institute, but if a student can’t afford it, he should know that the coaching institute is not a necessity. Self-study with knowledge of the syllabus and full review of 25-year previous year question paper helps you to achieve your goal.

ALL THE VERY BEST FOR YOUR FUTURE !

Study material was also inadequate, so I am just here to suggest you don’t fall into this trap. Instead of that attempt previous year question papers, test series, watch videos on youtube for free.

All of this helps you to save your time and money.
