But there’s one thing – you cannot directly give an exam for FRM Part II; for that, you need to qualify for Part I.

You must pass Part 1 of the FRM in order to move on to Part 2; however, both parts can be passed in a single sitting.
However, to earn the FRM designation, you must have approximately two years of professional work experience. While registering for the exam, you must have either a passport or a driver’s license.

Greetings to all. I followed Deepak Sir’s advice and passed the FRM exam ( RBei Classes). I’ve recently spoken with him about this issue. I’m going to quote what he told me: “There is no minimum eligibility criteria set by GARP. However, to Obtain FRM Certification, one must pass both the FRM exams, with 2 years of Full time risk-related experience.”
However, experience obtained while in school, including internships, part-time jobs etc. will not be taken into consideration. Until they have been certified, candidates are not permitted to use the FRM abbreviation after their names in any context.

After passing two challenging multiple-choice exams (FRM Exam Part I and Part II) and proving they have two years of relevant work experience, candidates are given the FRM certification. Before taking Part II of the FRM Exam, candidates must pass Part I.
