People do get jobs after passing the CFA L1 exam; however it’s really hard to find a good job (especially in India) due to the fierce competition.
You must be extremely proactive and persistent in your search for a decent job. This is due to the fact that thousands of people may have passed Level 1. This means that in order to be a competitive job applicant, you must improve both your technical skills (Like excel and Financial Modeling) and your CV. You can apply for positions in a variety of specialties, such as risk analyst, portfolio manager, and research analyst. You can get a chance to work with some of the largest multinational corporations (MNCs) in the world, including Citigroup, Morgan Stanley, HSBC, and PWC. You get to connect with some of the most brilliant financial minds, gain a solid understanding of financial ideas, and learn skills that set you apart.
The first level’s curriculum ensures your knowledge of a wide range of financial topics. Even if you haven’t completed all three levels, your training makes you a desirable hire (Top it up with Financial Modeling and Valuation Certification). While it is ideal to eventually finish the entire CFA course, you can take a short break after level 1, gain some useful work experience, and then go on to get your charter.

Therefore, it would be a waste of time and money if your only goal is to pass CFA Level 1 and you have no desire to move on to the next t
