Many companies are eager to recruit CFA level 1 students since most of them are freshers (And freshers have their own perks!). However, they want someone who is capable of handling all the challenges – Therefore, be sure to adequately prepare for the interview and to create a strong CV to get selected.
I’d like to list a few companies that might hire CFA level 1 students – JP Morgan, Motilal Oswal, Tresvista, Evalueservce, Visible Alpha, Nomura, BNP Paribas etc.

Equity piqued mine. I received a job offer as an equity and research analyst as a result of my propensity for fundamental analysis of stocks. Equity and research analysts primarily analyse stocks and provide recommendations regarding whether to purchase, sell, or keep the respective assets.
You can also get a job at any investment bank with a little effort (You will have to learn Financial Modeling and Valuations for that).Â
Therefore, it is easy to find employment after passing CFA Level 1, if you have add-on skills as mentioned above, or extreme curiosity towards a particular profile, just like I had for Equity!

Definitely YES! However finding a good job is often very difficult especially in India because of the competition.
Due to the fact that there are thousands of people who have cleared the level 1 exam and are looking for a job, you need to be very active and need to keep looking for a good role. As the level 1 is purely theory, you need to enhance your resume as well as your technical skills to get attracted in a large crowd.

CFA is one of the rare programs that offers huge prospects before you even finish the three levels. Obtaining a job after CFA level 1 is not very difficult because it shows you have a good grasp of financial and investment concepts. You might get to work for prestigious financial institutions like JP Morgan, Nomura etc. if you successfully complete the CFA level 1 course. You can apply for positions in a variety of specialized profiles, such as risk analyst, portfolio analyst, and research analyst.
CFA Level 1 is a rigorous course that enhances your proficiency in a variety of finance-related topics. Even though it’s ideal to complete the CFA program as a whole, you can take a little break after Level 1, gain some helpful work experience, and then continue on to obtain your charter.

Beyond helping me develop my knowledge, CFA increased my Job prospects too. As soon as I passed the CFA level 1 exam, I started looking for companies that were hiring for beginner level core finance profiles (Equity research, Financial Modeling etc.)
At first, I had no idea where the students could get jobs from companies after passing the level 1 exam. However, later on, I learnt the names of the organizations that were hiring, like GT, PWC, Deloitte, KPMG etc. with the help of YouTube.
I sent my resume in 10 of them, got shortlisted in 3 and aced one of the interviews. So I would say that it’s not difficult, if not easy to get a job after Level 1.
I believe I have addressed your query.

Other technical skills like Excel and Financial modeling is also another crucial factor. Therefore, it should go without saying that having technical skills and being confident will increase your chances of getting a job.
