I was a student of their 6th CFA Batch for level I, and now taking Level II coaching from them. Both the instructors – Vikas Vohra and Karan Singh are just awesome. Classes taken by Karan are exceptional, and the discussions that he initiates in the zoom sessions are really knowledgeable and give real world insights
A little downside is that sometimes the batches might get combined due to the short availability of the faculty, which leads to a huge batch size. Rest, everything is worth it!

What astonishes me is how The Wall Street School still successfully manufactures prestige by using smart branding tactics despite students annually calling them out for their subpar CFA course quality. They reinforce their false “gold standard” image by sponsoring glitzy industry events, getting teachers to pose in their T-shirts, and securing partnerships with educational institutions who obviously do no due diligence.
Makes me wonder if their fancy pass percentage and faculty claims are even authentic. They leverage aspirational marketing messages quite shrewdly to keep their assembly line of enrollees (and fees) flowing. Their savvy executives surely deserve kudos for milking the CFA cash cow so profitably over decades by exploiting student dreams.

Overall, I am Disappointed – self-study books would have prepared me better

I joined The Wall Street School’s CFA course with such optimism to get world-class instruction from their much touted Ivy League and industry expert trainers. Unfortunately, the premier quality experience advertised did not live up to my expectations. The recorded lectures seemed more theoretical without practical context on how concepts apply in real banking/analysis roles. Despite small batch sizes promised, instructors did not provide much individual attention or doubt resolution. I walked away without internalizing many key concepts deeply. Their question bank was also lacking in variety – nothing like the actual exams where applied knowledge is tested rigorously. I passed Level 1 by memorizing, not really learning. I feel wholly unprepared for Level 2 and am quite disappointed that such a reputed institute added no incremental value. I regret this expensive mistake and wish I had managed my high CFA exam expectations better.
