CIMA restricts you to work only in the finance field, but with ACCA you have the option to work in both finance and accounting. So, in my opinion, I should choose ACCA over CIMA.

If you want to get into the different profiles of “Management Accounting” then CIMA will give you an edge.
But if you want to get into “Compliances” or core “Financial Accounting” or “Taxation” then ACCA is a better qualification.
