I am absolutely livid that I wasted my time and money on The Wall Street School’s so-called “Financial Modeling” course. This fraud of a course was the most basic, rudimentary overview of concepts without any of the hands-on practical skills that were promised.
See lessThe instructor clearly had no idea what real financial modeling even looks like in corporate finance or investment banking. Most of the “models” we built were just simple Excel tables that a 5th grader could put together. Where was all the actual financial modeling that gets used in the real world? Nowhere to be found!
Even worse, the job placement assistance they touted was literally just an email newsletter with job listings you could find on any basic job board. Thanks for nothing! I reached out to discuss my experience and they refused to offer any kind of refund or address my concerns.
The course's practice models were a disappointment, offering too little variety to effectively hone my skills.
