Hello friends! Obtaining the FRM certification is no easy task, but with the help of Quintedge, I have cleared Part 1 of the exam. The road to get here has been difficult, but thanks to the Faculty and assistance of Yash sir, I was able to succeed.
After passing the FRM Part 1 exam, I had an interview with JP Morgan for an internship. Although it was a challenging process, I was able to stand out because of my FRM certification, Yash Sir’s advice, and my knowledge that I gained during the FRM sessions.
Without his assistance, I would not have been able to complete this journey. I will always be grateful to him for being my rock and guiding me through every step of the process.
I would therefore want to say that after passing FRM, you can land a job.

Yes, if you complete the FRM course you can explore opportunities in the field of financial risk. You can get high-paying jobs in corporate sectors such as financial institutions, investment institutions, credit rating agencies, banking, and insurance. These sectors provide good packages for FRM-qualified students who have good communication and analytical skills. And the other option after qualifying FRM is teaching in finance in institutions or colleges.

Hello Friends! I am aware of your need to know whether you will be hired after completing FRM. So let me allay your concerns; I promise you’ll be satisfied when you read the answer.
I’ll describe how I got the job shortly after finishing my first FRM Part 1: I am employed at Pune-based Axa Insurance. I began applying on job-hunting websites like Naukri.com, LinkedIn, etc. after passing FRM Part 1. After a few days, the companies started calling me.
Because your CV is the sole thing introducing you to recruiters, it must make a major impression if you truly want to be recruited. Don’t forget to include your abilities such as Python, Excel, and the other practicals you completed during the course. The second crucial factor is how you interact with the interviewer. It is crucial that you respond to the interviewer’s question intelligently.
Because of this, you will be chosen regardless of your level.
PS:- It is not necessary to have an MBA or CFA degree in order to be employed. If you complete FRM right after graduation, you can also land a job. Additionally, I’m preparing for Level 2 of the FRM, which will result in a better profile.

Yes, someone with an FRM certification can get a job in India as well as abroad. FRM is widely accepted. My opinion is that your educational background and in-depth subject understanding are key factors in getting hired. Your chances of landing a job are higher if you have a strong educational background because recruiters want to hire skilled candidates.
In the past, I have worked for an international bank with offices in India. I initially worked for them in India, but I was later transferred to their London office. Therefore, if you perform well, they will promote you rather than hire someone else for the same position if they require an employee at their foreign company. That is how I started working in risk management.

Earning the FRM certification will certainly be a huge accomplishment and a valuable asset for your career in the field of finance and risk management.
However, it’s just one piece of the puzzle. It will certainly set you apart from other candidates and give you an edge while applying for jobs, but it’s not a guaranteed ticket to success.
When it comes to landing that dream job, an interview is just as crucial as the certification itself. The recruiter expects you to know more about risk management practically as an FRM holder, so you have to be able to back up your knowledge and skills with real-life examples and confidence.
It’s easy to get caught up in the excitement of passing the exam and earning the certification, but don’t let that blind you to the reality that there’s still work to be done to land the job you want.
Also, even though specific roles like regulatory reporting, risk analyst etc, FRM certification gives a distinct advantage. But at the end of the day, it’s your talent, potential and hardwork that will help you to stand out and excel in the interview!
All the best!

After finishing FRM, you are likely to land a job because having FRM offers your profile an advantage over competitors who don’t have it. But there are many other things to consider, too, like your interviewing abilities, the supply-demand balance in your profile, and much more. You must perform up to the interviewer’s expectations because an FRM holder is expected to know a lot more about risk than a typical applicant.
FRM provides a significant advantage for a variety of jobs, including regulatory reporting, risk analyst, and so on, but you must demonstrate your ability in the interview to be hired.

The FRM program will give you many career possibilities, such as becoming a Risk Quantification Manager, Market Risk Specialist, Regulatory Risk Analyst, or Commercial Risk Manager. There are countless options available to you, so make your decision.
The certification alone does not guarantee employment; it is important to digest this fact first. In the end, how well you present yourself and perform in an interview will determine your selection.
I can vouch for this from personal experience. Even after passing the FRM exam, finding a job in the risk domain was challenging. I was able to prepare for the interview with the support of my teachers and bagged a job as a Market Risk Analyst at EY.
Thus, getting hired only depends on your performance. So, if you cleared the FRM, get prepared for the interview, put in a lot of effort, and get your ideal position!
